Tennessee:Tornadoes tear across the state, leaving at least six dead.

The state’s capital, Nashville, has a suburb to the north where three of the deaths were reported.About 50 miles (80.4 km) to the northwest, in the city of Clarksville, two adults and a kid were slain.
State of emergency
The mayor of the city, Joe Pitts, has issued a state of emergency proclamation that includes a curfew that will last until 9 p.m. on Sunday.
“This is devastating news and our hearts are broken for the families of those who lost loved ones,” he stated. “The city stands ready to help them in their time of grief.”According to the Montgomery County administration, an additional twenty-three residents have been admitted to the hospital.
The mayor of the county, Wes Golding, declared: “Today is a depressing day for our community. For those who have suffered injuries, lost loved ones, or lost their homes, we are praying.
“Nearly 60,000 individuals lacked electricity as of 21:30 local time (0330 GMT Sunday), according to the tracking website poweroutage.us.
Bright lightning flashes across the sky and the funnels of massive tornadoes making contact with the ground were captured on camera.
On Saturday, the National Weather Service issued several tornado warnings for Tennessee.
