2024 TRIUMPH Daytona 660 Engine
With a notable advancement in Triumph’s iconic and unique 660cc triple engine, the Daytona 660 boasts a peak power of 95PS and a peak torque of 69Nm. Its smooth, responsive, and linear delivery offers the ideal blend of low-down torque, mid-range, and top-end power. In addition to having 9% more torque and 17% more power than the Trident, the Daytona 660 also boasts a completely new exhaust system that produces a distinctive sports sound.

The new Power 6 tyres from Michelin are matched with radial four piston brakes featuring twin 310mm discs and braided brake lines.

A central air intake is incorporated into the distinctive twin LED headlights, and the minimal bodywork highlights the athletic profile before ending with a contoured LED tail light. Three eye-catching colour options are offered, each with a graphic inspired by the ‘660’ race.

Thrilling sporting accomplishments The Daytona triple offers 95PS at 11,250 rpm and a hair-raising 12,650 rpm redline. It is the ideal blend of low-down torque, exhilarating top-end, and unmatched character. At just 3,125 rpm, over 80% of its 69 Nm of peak torque is available, providing responsive, sporty, and extremely useable performance.
The engine produces a distinctive triple soundtrack by combining the free-revving top end performance of an inline four with the low-down torque and tractability of a twin. This sound is further enhanced by the new exhaust, which consists of compact underslung silencer with stainless steel finisher and three into one headers.
Triumph’s Torque Assist clutch ensures a progressive, light lever action with a span optimised clutch lever for improved reach, and the smooth six-speed gearbox delivers power with ease. Additionally, the clutch design enhances rear wheel control during severe deceleration, enabling a smooth and secure corner entry. With Triumph’s Shift Assist accessory, shifting up and down is quick and easy without requiring a clutch, making commuting even more convenient.

Technology on the Daytona 660 improves both safety and riding pleasure.Three riding modes are available with the ride-by-wire throttle: Sport, Road, and Rain. It also provides a clean and accurate throttle response. Sport mode provides the most reactive throttle response for aggressive road rides or track sessions. Each mode offers a different throttle response and level of traction control intervention. For riders who would rather have no electronic interference at all, they can also disable the traction control system via the instrument menu.

The multipurpose instruments have an LCD display that is black on white with an integrated colour TFT screen. All of the rider information is cleanly displayed, small, and easy to read in a variety of lighting situations.
