OnePlus 12 Retail Unit : Overall Impressions
Overall, the OnePlus 12 is a great smartphone with good performance and outstanding battery life. We didn’t have any major issues while using the phone for the past 11 days, and it proved to be a very reliable and practical daily driver. However, We do have a few minor complaints, such as the curved screen and the lack of wireless charging. Overall, though, the OnePlus 12 is a solid option for anyone looking for a high-end Android smartphone.
Design and Build Quality
The OnePlus 12 Retail Unit has a sleek and stylish design that feels premium in hand. The build quality is excellent, with no gaps or creaks. We particularly like the fact that the back glass is fingerprint-resistant and the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front glass is very durable.
One thing we don’t like about the design is the curved screen. While it looks nice, it can be prone to accidental touches and makes it more difficult to find good screen protectors. Additionally, the phone is a bit top-heavy due to the camera hump, but you get used to the weight after a while.
Display
The OnePlus 12 has a large 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is bright, crisp, and colorful, and we had no issues with visibility even in direct sunlight. However, it’s not the brightest display on the market, and some users may find that the colors are a bit oversaturated.

Performance
The OnePlus 12 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is one of the fastest processors on the market. The phone performed flawlessly in all of my tests, and we never experienced any lag or stuttering. We were even able to play demanding games like Call of Duty: Mobile without any issues.
Battery Life
The OnePlus 12 has a large 5,400mAh battery that provides excellent battery life. We were easily able to get a full day of use on a single charge, even with heavy usage. The phone also supports 100W fast charging, which can fully charge the battery in less than 30 minutes.
Camera
The OnePlus 12 has a triple-lens rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 64MP telephoto sensor, and a 48MP ultrawide sensor. The camera takes good photos in most lighting conditions, but it’s not the best on the market. In some cases, the photos can be overexposed and the skin tones can look unnatural. However, the camera is still good enough for most users, and the front-facing camera has also been improved over previous OnePlus phones.

Other Features
The OnePlus 12 also has a number of other features, including an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, stereo speakers, and an IR blaster. The in-display fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate, and face unlock is also a convenient option. The stereo speakers are loud and clear, and the IR blaster is a nice touch for those who use universal remotes.
Conclusion
The OnePlus 12 is a great smartphone with a lot to offer, including excellent performance, outstanding battery life, and a sleek design. However, it does have a few minor drawbacks, such as the curved screen and the lack of wireless charging. Overall, though, the OnePlus 12 is a solid option for anyone looking for a high-end Android smartphone.
